Celebrated Nigerian music artist Waje has proved herself to be a true mother who can easily tell the difference between when her child is playing pranks on her and when she is not. On Friday, April 1, which also happens to be marked April fool’s day all over the world Nigerians, took to the social media to express their thoughts by trying to make someone believe what was not true.
Born Aituaje Aina Iruobe’s daughter was not left out in the fun as she decided to play an expensive prank on her mother who unfortunately, was not moved by what Emerald said. The 17-year old girl sent a message to her mother on WhatsApp saying, she was no longer interested in going to school. Waje posted a screenshot of their conversation on Instagram with the caption: “Hahahahaha see chat between Emerald and I #teacherwasonceaschoolgal.”

However, few days back Waje daughter Emerald turned 17-years and was highly celebrated by her mother via her Instagram page with the words: “17 today @emeralddii the sunshine in your smile and how loving and funny you are. The world is waiting to experience this gift given through me #mylittlewoman.”
